We can’t make money off of you, unless you are making money…..
If you’re going to spend the extra money to produce postcards, let us take a look first.
Big Fish is one of the few companies in the U.S. to produce this broad of a range of postcard options. Cutting edge designs, coatings, die cuts and stocks to get your team noticed.
Our most common business card stocks include
70LB uncoated: This stock is typically used for postcard jobs over 50,000 and up where mailing costs are a factor.
100LB cover: This is thicker than the average 80LB cover they used to use back in the day.
16 pt : This is thickest card stock weight they make.
Printing processes include:
Full color – CMYK
Spot Color – We can match your existing Pantone colors or convert to CMYK to reduce your costs
Gloss Aqueous – you can write on this
AQ coatings make your colors come to life while protecting from smearing, fading and add a professional feel to your printing.
Dull/Matte Silk Aqueous – you can write on this
This finish is unlike the typical uncoated stock used for business cards were the finish is rough and textured. Once cards are printed on a coated stock we apply a dull / matte coating to the entire surface to give it a silky smooth finish.
UV Finish – not suited for writing on
Often referred to as Lamination this coating adds thickness to the feel of your card. Although slightly difficult to write It will protect your card from water, fading, and smearing.
Spot UV + Matte/Dull Finish
Our most expensive but most impressive print process. Extremely high contrast can be achieved by using a dull matte finish and then applying a UV lamination only to images or text you want noticed. The end result looks as if the UV portion was cut out of thick plastic and placed down over a dull finish.
Most common business cards are printed on 80LB cover so this is almost twice as thick. This surface is commonly used were clients need to write on the cards with pencils or pens.
